The Softening Practice

Place a few drops of oil into your palm and gently warm it between your hands. Bring your hands toward your

face and take a slow breath in, allowing the aroma to settle your senses.

With unhurried touch, smooth the oil onto the body – along the neck and décolletage, across the shoulders,

along the inner arms, onto the wrists and pulse points, and through the ends of the hair. Allow your hands to

move slowly, feeling the warmth of skin beneath your palms.
